I recently talked on my podcast, (inaudible), about the inscrutable paradox of one of the core concepts in the messages from the Confederation: that of being a mind/body/spirit complex with free will while also aspiring to be an instrument of the Creator. The question doesn’t so much center around whether “we” have free will or not, but more of what “we” are in the first place. The entire crux of the issue of will lies in the source of its agency, and if the self is not understood completely then what it means for it to exercise choice is uncertain, to put it mildly!
