Greetings from Orion

BETELGEUSE RADIATION RISES SHARPLY

A galactic hot spot is the red giant Betelgeuse in the constellation of Orion, which in 2019 catapulted a huge portion of its substantial surface into space with a never-before-observed micronova, a very significant sign of an impending supernova, which would be another epic disaster factor for Earth. After the gigantic mass ejection, the brightness first dropped, among other things due to the shadow of the ejected substance, but behind the shadow it went on tubulously and now that the “shadow” has cleared, the irradiance now rises rapidly again, - with today’s status the irradiance reaches an intensity which is 129% of the norm!
